I decided to reprocess some older data of the Orion nebula and surrounding area that was gathered in December 2023. This was some of the first data collected after my father gifted me a star tracker. The first image is the original stacked and processed image done in DSS(deep sky stacker) and Photoshop. Where as the second image was stacked and processed in Siril and Photoshop with newer techniques that I’ve learned in the last year. The Orion Nebula is one of my favorite subjects and I’m looking forward to collecting more data in the following years.
